Offline for a few weeks

Even as a self-employed person, you can (and should!) treat yourself to a break. After several intense months, it was high time for me to really switch off – and that's exactly what I did: I took a good long break lasting several weeks!

I started with a skating holiday in Cologne and Düsseldorf – where I enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere with three friends, basking in the sun, skating and enjoying the occasional cold drink. This was followed by three weeks of pure Brittany: rugged coastlines, salty air and that special light that simply makes everything more beautiful there. Finally, I spent a few relaxing days at Lake Constance – the perfect way to gently round off my holiday.

I was particularly taken with Brittany. From pink granite cliffs to endless sea views – the nature there is impressively diverse. And the weather? An adventure in itself. Wind, rain, sun, storms and sun again – all possible in one day. When camping, this sometimes meant small challenges, but that's exactly what made the time there so lively.

Now I'm back at my desk, sitting in wet and cold weather with a cup of tea and lots of new ideas in my head. My batteries are fully charged again, my energy is back – and I'm looking forward to starting new projects.

Even if part of my thoughts have probably remained somewhere between the sound of the Atlantic and the sea breeze.
